Small ways to improve your life

1. Quit worrying about what others think
Most people don't really care which dress you wore or what colour your makeup was! Besides, you can't help what people think. The less you focus on it, the happier you will be.

2. Stop trying to do your best
...and start doing as well as you can. Research shows that when we stay focused on the task rather than on what others may think of the end result, we actually perform better.

3. Balance work and play
All work and no play can make a dull person. We need time to play. Playtime can be solitary or with others; physical or passive; a sport or hobby. Take time out for some healthy play.

4. Keep an ongoing daily to-do list
We all have more things to do than we have energy for. If you're afraid you'll forget small tasks, take charge and organise your life by jotting down reminders in a notebook.

5. Let someone spoil you
Massage therapy is one of the quickest ways to feel good. Why not let someone else pamper and take care of you?

Haiyoh.....

Over the weekend, I was inspired, and decided to embark on a new exercise regime...

Monday - Go jogging after work with colleagues

Tuesday - Go for body combat during lunch

Wednesday - Go for body combat after work

Saturday - Go for body combat after work

 

So... Today I began... But there were various obstacles that came along.. For example, we had aimed to leave at 6pm de.. Then one of my collleagues had to wait for one of the bosses for some short meeting.. Then I was also waiting for my boss to give me certain instructions too... Then my colleague didn't need to stay for the meeting, and my boss still had not given me any instructions, so we all went to get ready to run liao.. Then I decided to check my computer (again) just before leaving to make sure my boss didn't ask me to do anything, then, guess what, all the instructions came liao.. Rushed and did all the mad-house calling for the next half an hour to settle the matters...

It was almost 7pm when we left to go jogging liao.. Then jog and jog.. Still can see sunset and enjoy the "sea" breeze... Then.........

Haiz..... What a way to begin my exercise regime.. Now got to lay off the exercise for a few days liao.....
